Tour Itinerary
Ba Be National Park is centred on a vast lake surrounded by chalky karsts and a thick tropical jungle. This Vietnam adventure tour will take you deep into the park and let you float on the waters of Ba Be lake. On this two-day tour, you will experience the local hospitality from an ethnic minority family, go on a tranquil river trip, explore caves and see the landscape change from rice farms to forests to towering mountains.

7.30 - 8:00 An early start to the day to make the most of what we have in store for you.
We will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi at 07:30 AM and then hit the road north towards Ba Be National Park.

We will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi at 07:30 AM and then hit the road north towards Ba Be National Park.
Lunch will be had in a restaurant in a village on the way, and then our route will take us up through the mountains and tea plantations to Ba Be lake, an amazing green lake in the middle of a natural green forest. You will then travel to the Tay village of Coc Toc, with its beautiful stilt houses and friendly population of Tay people, who make their living by fishing in the stunning Ba Be lakes and farming.
You will stay in the homestay of a local family here, enjoying their wonderful hospitality. In the afternoon, you will have some time to explore the beautiful surroundings. You will then enter Hua Ma Cave which features thousands of stalactites and columns. You may also wish to take the option of walking or cycling around Coc Toc village, kayaking on the lake in boats that we reserve for our tour guests, or simply relaxing in the peaceful surroundings and enjoying the views.
Day 2: Ba Be National Park - Ha Noi (B/L)

After breakfast we’ll kick the final day of the tour of by boarding a boat and setting off onto the lake. It’s up to you how to spend your time on the boat, whether it’s relaxing and enjoying the views or going for a swim in the cool waters to refresh yourself.

After breakfast we’ll kick the final day of the tour of by boarding a boat and setting off onto the lake. It’s up to you how to spend your time on the boat, whether it’s relaxing and enjoying the views or going for a swim in the cool waters to refresh yourself.
The views consist of stunning karst formations all around you covered with patches of wild vegetation and a rich wildlife. The boat will then continue along the Nang River, giving you a chance to explore the caves of Puong Grotto where you can marvel at the stalactites and stalagmites created through river erosion, as well as observe the thousands-strong bat colony that lives here.
After your exploration of the lake, you will have the chance rest as we drive you back to Hanoi, taking in the beautiful scenery along the way. You will stop for lunch at a local restaurant on the way before arriving in Hanoi at about 17:30, when it’s time to say your goodbyes to your guide, driver and tour group.

If cancelled up to 15 days before the tour starting date, free of charge.
If cancelled 15 days or less before the tour starting date, 30% of the total amount is charged (deposit).
If cancelled 7 days or less before the tour starting date, 55% of the total amount is charged (30% deposit + 25% late cancellation fees).
If cancelled 2 days or less before the tour starting date, 100% of the total amount is charged
